Privilege Beauty CBD began in a kitchen with our founder, Privilege (Chelle) Johnson, and a personal search for better skin care.

Living with eczema, Chelle loved how shea butter moisturized her skin—but its natural scent left something to be desired. She began experimenting with a body butter that could deliver the rich hydration she loved while making the experience more enjoyable.

Her inspiration went beyond skin care.

 Navigating chronic pain, sciatic nerve damage, osteoporosis, and the changes of menopause had made self-care an essential part of her life. Essential oils already held a meaningful place in her daily routine, and she became curious about combining them with CBD and nourishing body care.

That curiosity became a commitment. Through research, experimentation, and plenty of trial and error, Privilege developed a formula she loved using herself.

When she shared it with family and friends, their enthusiastic feedback encouraged her to keep going.

What began as something personal grew into Privilege Beauty CBD.

Today, our purpose is to bring thoughtful, nourishing self-care to people beyond our own circle. Our products combine rich butters, moisturizing oils, CBD, and aromatic essential oils to create a ritual you can look forward to.
